I'm sure this is a stupid question, but how do I make muliple copies of things I've bought off itunes? Is there a way to disable their copy cap? (Are there other engines/cd burning software that will allow me to copy as many as I want?)
I recall that someone addressed this breifly in a previous post, but I didn't understand.

It is a good question, and there are a few ways around the DRM.
One way is to simply burn a CD of iTunes purchased music and then rip the songs to your computer, where they will be saved as AIFFs. There is some quality loss in doing this, obviously, but I don't think it is too recognizable.
If you are using a PC, there are a few free apps that will remove the restrictions...running a google search such as "DRM removal itunes" should bring them up. I know they exist, but I don't know the names, not being a PC user myself.
If you are on a Mac, then Hymn software (again, free online) works, but you have to have a fairly old version of iTunes.
I recently saw an article in a German tech magazine that showed a way to import iTunes songs into iMovie and then export them as MP3s, but I didn't dig any deeper. This article is online and could be found with a google search, which I am currently too lazy to perform.
I also feel that once I have paid for music on iTunes then I can snag it off a TOR or from a friend without the accompanying small tinge of guilt.
Those are a few ways around it. There are more. Perhaps someone else will chime their bells.
Thanks. I bought "sound taxi" today and it seems to have done the trick (and it's super easy to use. I would recomend it.)
I keep my media on a PC for this reason alone, and use my apple laptop for everything else.
